The gathering is evenly distributed across the front and back, while the stretch of the woven trim is carefully controlled throughout the process to maintain a smooth and balanced asymmetrical shoulder curve without localized bunching or distortion, creating a vintage French countryside feel. The hem features an elasticated gathered bud-shaped finish, with the hem panels constructed using an internal elastic enclosed-seam technique.
